Workshops & other fun henna things...

Henna is a global art form practiced from Morocco to Indonesia. Alchemy offers a brief overview of henna for historical context, safety and practice. With very little lecture and time to refine your own henna skills, Alchemy will send you home with a small henna cone to use later, and offers sample designs to all participants.
I first fell in love with henna while looking for ways to connect with my kids. Seven years later, henna is the most visible aspect of Alchemy Slow Living Studio and a valued part of my life because henna has created connections for so many people.

Henna Workshop: Moroccan Motifs
We'll discuss what makes the distinctive style authentic and where designs deviate and have an 'ish' feel. And we'll refine some techniques like draping and layout: Leave wearing a sample of the regional style and a goodie bag with henna-related goodies.
