a few honest ingredients to create beautiful art
The raw powder harvested from the henna plant... it's true - not mud, not nasty synthesized dyes- just the plant. Dried, milled and ready to make a paste. Each artist has her (or his) recipe... I like to use the milled henna, water, essential oils and sugar.
For certain events, I make the henna special by using herbal teas, or a few drops of a unique essential oil. When I'm going to be at Eldorado General Store, I like to add a few drops of Palo Santo and make the henna with sunflower tea.
