three floors up in an historic building ![]() One of my favorite moments when new people arrive at Alchemy is the element of surprise. The Ferndale Center Building is unassuming from the outside, and the entrance can be tricky to find. Then you make your way up to the third floor, not really sure WHAT to expect - So entering Alchemy is a treat. A generous studio space in an historic building that has been posh apartments and city offices. The suite is constantly evolving, too. New art. New amenities - and always cozy. It's a little like a 'clubhouse' where all are welcome: no code words, no secret knock- you just have to know how to find us. In all things Alchemy, I strive for authenticity.
The space is an expression of my own passion for pretty places to rest your eyes. A blend of new and collected pieces: The down-filled chair is a family piece (my Mom napped in it while expecting me). It is a space where I am happy to spend time and I think that reflects in the energy of the place.
