Bath Bombs and Self Care

1/6/2018

Picture
“Selfcare isn’t always bath bombs and $20 face masks. Sometimes it’s going to bed at 8:00 or letting go of a bad friend. It’s forgiving yourself for not meeting your own impossible standards & understanding you are worth it. Selfcare isn’t always luxury, but a means for survival” -words by @weareonlypieces

. The point isn’t to sell you stuff. The point is to sell you on YOU. To remind you that TIME spent on you is OK. Good. Deserved.

So take that walk in the woods and appreciate the sun. Value yourself enough to prioritize that workout-meditation-cooking class- coffee with a friend (and yes, that massage) -and a nice long bath would be good with a fancy bath bomb. The point isn’t that fancy thing, though. It’s that investment in time. In YOU.
