Hosted by Eldorado General Store in Corktown with a beautiful table-scape, candlelight, ambient music, food, wine and friends.
The flicker of the candles was a welcome glimmer on a blah-gray winter day.
Plus, Katoi provided food and I got to meet Emily Berger (the photographer that I have a little #artistcrush on).
A henna cone, and care kit with a sample of a Palo Santo / Rose Anointing Oil -- raw henna powder smells of cut, sun-dried hay -- and we practiced techniques on cookies
History, geography, techniques and everyone had a sampling to wear home.
Erin and I enjoyed it so much we are planning on a second workshop to talk about Mehndi Mixology (and maybe laying out a design). And I'm looking forward to taking a jewelry or floral design class in the beautiful space Eldorado General Store has created for intimate events like this.
